Our Story
How It All Began
The Beginning
When you know, you know.
Some love stories begin with a glance across a crowded room. Ours began with a swipe. We matched on Hinge, and for Jordan, it was her very first date on the app. No pressure. Paul, in true Paul fashion, picked one of the nicest sushi restaurants in Atlanta without fully realizing it — accidentally setting the bar high from day one. It ended with our first kiss at the St. Regis, and somewhere between the edamame and the espresso martinis, we both knew this was something different.
Growing Together
We are happiest when we are exploring, together.
Some relationships take years to find their footing. Ours hit the ground running. What started as a first date turned into a whole life, built one adventure at a time. Jordan brought Paul to the Masters for the first time — with one of the most coveted tickets in sports. He’ll tell you it was the greatest day of his life. Paul returned the favor by taking Jordan flying for the first time — a small plane, a big sky, and a whole lot of trust. We introduced each other to our families, moved in together, and added the most important member of our household: Birdie, our Pomeranian. We eventually settled into our home in Brookhaven, Georgia, and filled our passport pages along the way — Curaçao, Bonaire, Mexico, Italy, and beyond.
A Few of Our Favourite Moments

The Question
There was never a doubt. There was only ever yes.
Paul knew he wanted to propose on their vacation. He just needed the right moment to find him. It did — on a sandbar in the middle of the crystal-clear waters off Eleuthera, Bahamas, during a cruise with friends. When the boat pulled up and Paul took in the scene — the open sky, the endless blue, the people he loved most nearby — he knew this was it. He slipped the ring into the zipper pocket of his swim trunks, trusted it to the Bahamian ocean, and waded in. Jordan had no idea. He got down on one knee, and the answer was yes. For two people who never needed long to be sure about each other, it was the perfect ending to a story that had moved fast from the very beginning — and never once felt rushed.
